navel lint

An Australian man named Graham Baker collected and stored his bellybutton lint (shown above) for 25 years, which earned him a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. I'm fascinated by the color changes from the first jar to the last. According to a chemist from Vienna University, who spent 3 years analyzing his own navel lint, it is made up of cotton from clothing, dust, skin flecks, sweat and fat(?).

One thing the scientist from U of Vienna discovered is that if he shaved his stomach, he didn't get lint in his navel. Belly hair is required.
