Five guys, one lake

CNN posted a fun article today about five friends that have taken the same photo at Copco Lake in California every five years since 1982.

Thanks for the tip, Mike!

Playboy Bunnies in London, 1966

It says these "well trained" girls received 2000£ a week - hard to figure out, but based on this page, it seems like that would be about 28,870£ in today's money (or $44,893). Exorbitant!

These remind me of my old Kangaroos sneakers

But fancier, and grown up.

Double Agent Shoes let you leave the house without a bag... unless you wanted to take your smart phone. I don't think my droid would fit in there.
You can even have them add a side pocket for more storage.

I can't wait to see the Mapplethorpe line!

TENGA has licensed a line of Keith Haring doodle-clad sex toys for men that "expand drastically for a snug fit regardless of your size".
And Animal New York tested them out.

Another great one

The last time I looked at the referring search terms that bring people to our blog, the final one on the list was "monkey vagina". And now it's...

That's not what you think it is...

Investigative journalism show Xi'an Up Close did a story on an unusual mushroom found by villagers when digging a new well. Turns out it was not a mushroom at all but a double-ended penetration toy (vagina on one end, anus on the other).

Hmm...

A friend sent me this photo via Facebook. I don't know who the designer is.

Happy Friday!

I couldn't decide which ugly dress to post so you get them both. *singsong* Boh-nuuusss!

The Photoshop is strong with that first one.

This is a terrible shirt, but it gets worse

This hideous shirt, sold by pizzashirt.net, also comes in vegetarian pizza print.

But it's the pepperoni version that is featured in Jennifer Chan's repulsive short film, Intimate Crust. Which is also NSFW, kind of like the pizza shirt. Unless you work at a pizzeria.

Don't forget, we all need blood to live

The National Health Service reminds Brits that amongst the excitement of the Olympic games, blood donations will be needed more than ever. Full story of these painted people at Metro UK.

In honor of the passing of Maurice Sendak

Here's 'Where the Wild Things Are' read by Christopher Walken, which is super strange. And awesome.

Creepy but fun interactive gifs

Dutch artist Han Hoogerbrugge created a comic strip years ago called Modern Living/Neurotica. Eventually he decided to turn his comics into animated gifs and put them on a website.
Click on the gifs to get the action started. Choose new ones to try out in the left hand panel. After a while go outside and look at the sunshine, you'll need it.

EDIT: Balls! Sorry y'all, fixed the website link.

Mark Stoddart's tables

Wondering what to pair with your Maximo Riera octopus chair? How about Mark Stoddart's underwater hippo table?

Actually you'd be shit out of luck, because Mark's whole inventory is sold out. But they are still fun to look at.
